Fruits of labor
Aside from its aesthetic appeal, edible landscaping ensures that there is safe and available food in the area. This has been especially advantageous recently at the height of extended community quarantine due to COVID-19. In Eton City, among those enjoyed by residents and property management frontliners are green mangoes from 500 mango trees in the community.Edible sunflowers that can be used for salads and beans are part of the vegetable landscape.
Lakeside fishing
As the first residential island-lot development, South Lake Village at Eton City features a 16-hectare man-made lake which is now a source of fresh tilapia enjoyed by the community.
