Centris will host Run Fur Life 2: Hydro Edition on Sunday, October 15 at the Centris Walk. Registration starts at 4:30am and gun starts at 6:30am. Run Fur Life is a fun run organized to aid the once slaughter-bound dogs rescued by non-government organization, Animal Kingdom Foundation. Close to a thousand pet lovers and animal welfare advocates are expected to run for this worthy cause.
This year’s event promises to be a more exciting one with the concept of a Hydro Fun Run. Water guns and hydro showers will form waves of excitement throughout the event as these refresh the runners in certain points of the route. Better yet, each runner will be given their own water guns to join in the water fight. A surprise shower of holi powder awaits the runners at the finish line. Categories include 1k and 3k Solo and Duo Run (Human and Dog).
In 2016, a bubble fun run concept was participated in by over 650 pet lovers and animal welfare advocates in support of AKF’s noble cause to end dog meat trade in the Philippines. The same kind of reception and even bigger is anticipated for this Sunday’s event.
Run For Life 2 forms part of Centris Shares, Centris’ Corporate Social Responsibility Program that aims to bring the commercial complex at the forefront of social development programs that would bring significant impact to its community, while creating value and relevance to its business. Centris supports causes such as children and youth, seniors, education, health, and animal welfare, among others.
“Centris is the convergence of commerce and dynamic communities with the four pillars of Connections, Possibilities, Progress, and Experiences. At the same time, we envision Centris to be the center of caring and sharing through Centris Shares,” Marjorie Abot, Centris Assistant Vice President said. “Through this program, we hope to influence and effect change in the community by espousing causes we believe in through activities that generate a great impact.”
Centris is a commercial development of Eton Properties Philippines, Inc. It is located along Edsa, Diliman, Quezon City.
